National Night Out in North East was an incredible evening spent connecting with our community and meeting so many of our brave EMS workers, firefighters, and police officers—true heroes who put their lives on the line every day to keep us safe and care for our loved ones in times of crisis.
Today was an incredible day supporting Cecil County Toys for Tots’ Back-to-School Event — we were proud to help hand out over 500 backpacks to local students!

These two photos are from 2nd Fridays in North East! Chris jumped into the dunk booth to support Live for Thomas, a foundation dedicated to raising awareness for suicide prevention.
Tonight, I stood among neighbors, friends, and families at the vigil hosted by Voices of Hope in honor of National Overdose Awareness Day.
Candles glowed softly in the evening air—each one representing a life taken too soon, a family left to grieve, and a community left to pick up the pieces.
So far this year, 26 lives have been lost to overdose—26 too many.
Addiction doesn’t just affect the person struggling; it ripples outward, breaking families, straining friendships, and shaking entire communities.
I’ve known people who have fought this battle. I’ve seen the fear and helplessness in their loved ones’ eyes when they don’t know where to turn. It’s heartbreaking, and it’s terrifying.
That’s why, as part of the Sutton for Sheriff Team, we’re making drug addiction awareness, prevention, and recovery support a top priority.

As a candidate for Sheriff, I was proud to support the Fraternal Order of Police this evening and stand alongside the families who support our officers every day.​
Law enforcement families are the backbone of our community—their strength and dedication remind me why my platform is centered on rebuilding trust, prioritizing public safety, and ensuring our deputies have the resources they need to keep our neighborhoods safe.
